Call for artists: Sculpture at Fort Tryon Park 2016 – Evolving Terrain
The Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA), Fort Tryon Park Trust and NYC Parks present “Sculpture at Fort Tryon Park,” a series of temporary art installations on display July–November 2016. The project aims to create opportunities for artists from Northern Manhattan and beyond to engage with their varied neighborhood landscapes and communities.

Call for artists: Artist Residency Program at Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling
Visual artists working across disciplines with a commitment to social engagement are encouraged to apply. The 11-month residency provides a free, unfurnished, 450-square-foot studio space, Wi-Fi, a $7,000 honorarium, production and logistical support, open studio events, and a culminating exhibition in the studio. Application deadline: 16 May 2016.
